Relay for Life is an annual charity event run by the students at UCVTS.  Their hard work and dedication creates an uplifting and memorable experience that no student should miss.  Each year the students form teams and raise money and awareness for the disease that impacts almost everyone: cancer.  We work with the American Cancer Society to fundraise money to help cancer patients, outreach programs, research and development, and to honor those we have lost.  From our first event until the present day, UCVTS has raised over 2.5 million dollars.  We are year after year in the top 5 among high schools in the country - including #2 in 2021-2022.  Being a part of the Relay for Life experience at UCVTS is one of the best examples of community service.  Students in this club help through various committees to plan and execute the event to make it the repeated success that it is year after year.
